Thank You: I would like to start this flyer by thanking Sandy Harris for the years of dedicated service as the UAW’s Civil & Human Rights Committee representative and also as A Crew Health and Safety Representative. Thank You Sandy, from the Committee and the membership.

Anyone interested in serving on the Civil & Human Rights Committee, see your committeeperson. One of the requirements is to be present at two out of every three union membership meetings.

Welcome: The Committee would like to welcome Travis Turner as the new Health and Safety Representative on A Crew. Travis’ prior experience in Health and Safety will be useful and help him serve the membership better.

Congratulations to The Trumbull County Corrections Officers who ratified their first UAW agreement by 90% for, to 10% opposed. They will soon be assigned to a UAW Local by the Region, and will be holding elections of their bargaining committee in the near future. Once again, Congratulations, and welcome to the UAW!

No member shall be eligible for election as an Alternate Committeeperson until he/she has been a member in good standing for a period of six (6) months prior to nominations.

Candidates must be working on the shift you wish to run for during the nominating period and must be working at Voith.
