Bowl-a-thon for March of Dimes will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday March 13th at the Mahoning Valley Lanes on Mahoning Ave on the west side of Youngstown.
Sunday, May 16th March of Dimes March for Babies will be held at the Austintown Township Park. Registration begins at 12 noon. The March starts at 1:00 pm. There will be a 3 or 5 mile march.
The 3rd Annual Care & Share Poker Run will be held Saturday, August 14th. We will start at the Union hall and end at the Faces Lounge in Newton Falls. Watch for fliers or you can go to the Local 1112 web site for more information www.uaw1112.com. Please consider riding in this Poker Run. It is a great time and it helps raise money for our Care & Share program. WE NEED RIDERS to make this a success. The Community Services Committee has supported the annual Bike Show in the plant and now we need all the riders to help support this very worthy event.
If you cannot ride but would still like to be involved or donate something, please consider donating to the Chinese Auction. You can contact a Community Services Committee member or leave your name or item to be donated at the Union hall.
