Glenn Johnson is a life long resident of Austintown, Ohio

Glenn graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1976 and went to work at General Motors Lordstown in 1977 as an assembler in the Body Shop. He has worked for G.M. for 30 years, the last 8 as a Union representative for UAW Local 1112.

Glenn first became involved with the Local Union through recreation where he played on an Industrial National Championship softball team and a UAW National Championship softball team. He then became active with the Union’s Community Service Committee where he volunteered for many worthy causes.

Glenn was elected to the Executive Board of Local 1112 as an Executive Board-at-Large member, where he served the membership for six years, until he was elected Vice-President in 2006.

Glenn resides in Austintown with his wife Norma, and together they are the proud parents of daughter Katie, a senior at Kent State University
