The duties of the Women's Committee are:

• Discussion on problems of women workers in the plants and make recommendations or submit resolutions to the appropriate Union bodies. Their goal will be to promote UAW policy and encourage women to become active in the Union and community.
• This committee shall perform all duties assigned to it by the International Constitution and these By-laws, and such additional duties as they may be directed to perform from time to time by the Local Union Executive Board or the membership.
